Last month, in addition to being a vegetarian and not eating chocolate, I also gave up baking (see Vegetarian for a Month). I thought that it would be useful not to have baking around, and I seem to do it almost every week. It was unfortunate that I had to buy a friend’s birthday cake (gasp!), but it felt better to snack on more healthy items such as nuts and peanut butter (my favorite!).
